The Call to be a minister didn't come from the blue. The Lord touched my heart and gave me the ability to do it.
Charlie Ti Wanditi a gospel artist from Uganda, East Africa was called into singing at an early age. After I accepting Jesus Christ as my personal saviour and Lord, the Lord put a desire into my heart to reach out to the broken hearted, weary, and the unsaved through music.
Born in a very big family and the father being a music lover gave me the opportunity to listen and appreciate all kind of music. I discovered that the message in music has a great sinking effect to the mind and body. This led me into having a zeal and vision to use the same means.
I started my music carrier in my early secondary school after discovering my talent as a singer, instrumentalist, songwriter and Producer. Since then I have written many songs and played musical instruments in a number of groups and church praise and worship teams etc. I have been a music director, Chapel pianist, Band Chairman and many other music and drama related responsibilities.
God has blessed me with favour everywhere I have stepped both in Church and outside church. 2005 I was nominated as the Best Male artist from East Africa in the Kora Awards.
I have been an inspiration and impact to many other musicians and young people around me and now I want to expand his territories more. The sky is the limit.
Tororo Pentecostal Church is the church where I had all my inspiration and mentoring under the leadership of Bishop John Richard Lokwang. He is a great man of God. I have also been inspired and impacted by the leadership and preaching of Pastor Robert Kayanja of Miracle Centre Cathedral Rubaga where I fellowship from. I am what I am because of the two men of God.
My first Album was called Why Hypocrisy recorded locally in a crude domestic studio. However it had a great favour that many people liked it and I was known everywhere by the name of the album-why hypocrisy. It gave me an inspiration to do more work. I later recorded other albums: I Need A Miracle, Lift Him, and His Love both on audio and Video and God has done great work with those albums. I have seen Him open doors, encourage somebody and touch souls.
Charlie Ti is the group leader and Director of Vision 4x Family. I love working for the Lord, interacting and being an example to others. My Vision and that of the group is not merely music but stretches to all areas of life because we are different and have different calls and talents which we can use to touch hearts. Our Vision together with the group is to take the Gospel to all corners of the world and bless people materially, spiritually, mentally above all giving people a smile.
Because of my childhood influence the music I do has a fussion of many music styles(genres), Culture, Afro Pop, Reggie, hiphop, zouk etc
I also work as a producer and chorographer with Tich Touch Records and V4x Pictures.
